Terms of service

Apron2Amp is a trade name of PANBUDDHA DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LIMITED, a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (incorporation no. BC1585293).

When you create an account or buy here, your contract is with that company.

One account per person. You sign in with a code we email you, or with a password: keep both to yourself. What happens under your account is your responsibility, so tell us if you think someone else has used it.

We may close an account that shares its sign-in, or shares the course videos or files. You can delete your account yourself from your account page at any time.

The course and its downloads are for your own personal learning. Buying gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them, not ownership.

Please don’t share your sign-in, resell the course, or re-upload or pass on the videos or files. The lesson videos are unlisted or private on YouTube and the links are for students only; sharing a link is the same as sharing the video.

What you learn, and the music you make with it, are yours to use however you like.

Prices are shown in US dollars, or in Canadian dollars to visitors in Canada. You can switch between the two; you pay in the currency shown at checkout.

We don’t charge sales tax at the moment, because the company is below the threshold at which it must register for it. Tax may be added later; if it is, it will be shown at checkout before you pay.

The price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, by card. We never see or keep your full card number.

We don’t sell to customers in the United Kingdom, the European Union or Quebec at the moment, and the checkout isn’t offered to visitors from there. If an order from there does go through, we may cancel it and refund it in full.

Our Refund policy sets out the 30-day guarantee, what “finished” means, and how to ask for a refund.

If you submit a track for Listening Night, you keep ownership of it and every right to it. You give us permission to play it on Apron2Amp’s Listening Night, a public YouTube livestream, and to keep it in the recording of that night.

You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing support@apron2amp.com. We’ll take the track out of the queue, and out of any recording we still control, as soon as we can.

Only submit a track you have the right to share. Don’t submit anything that belongs to someone else, or that is unlawful or abusive; we may decline to play it.

The music, the tutorials, the course material, the sounds and the site itself belong to the company or to the people who licensed them to us. Nothing here transfers ownership to you.

Free material is yours to learn from and to use in your own music. It isn’t yours to resell, re-upload or redistribute as your own.

The course is released as it’s recorded: a night you can’t open yet is marked Recording soon. We may change, reorder or pause lessons as the course grows.

We work to keep the site and the course available, but we can’t promise they’ll never be interrupted. We also can’t promise you a particular outcome, a finished piece of music, or an audience for it.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses.

Our total liability to you for anything to do with an order is limited to what you paid for that order.

None of this limits what the law says can’t be limited, or takes away consumer rights where you live that can’t be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them closer to home.

The rest still applies.

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms in place when you bought apply to that purchase.
